Love triangle leads to visa refusal E-mail
on 24-02-2010 13:00
An Indian woman has been refused visa to join her husband in London - after an email was sent from her account by her husband's lover.

Police in Indore said the email was allegedly sent by Pune-based Beejal Rathore, 27, from Prachi Jain's account after the address and the password were provided by Jain's husband, Mihir Mehta.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Jitendra Singh said Rathore was having an affair with Mehta, a London-based engineer.

Mehta has admitted providing Rathore with Jain's email account details.

In the e-mail, Rathore posing as Jain wrote to the British Visa Agency saying her father was forcibly sending her to London against her wishes, following which the agency cancelled her visa, Singh said.

Mehta got married to Jain about nine months back.

A case will be registered against Mehta in this regard under relevant sections of the IT Act and would be summoned for probe from London in the matter, the DSP added.
