Mumbai is among the most expensive cities in the world and Bangalore among the cheapest for property purchase, according to a study by research group Global Property. The research is based on the average price of a 120 square metre, high-end apartment in the centre of 110 cities around the world. Mumbai is 10th costliest city ($9,163), while Bangalore is the second cheapest ($657). London is the third most expensive ($20,756). Monte Carlo continues to be the costliest globally - with a top-end apartment costing around $47,578 per square metre -followed way behind by Moscow ($20,853 per sq m). Tokyo ($17,998), Hong Kong ($16,125), New York ($14,898), Paris ($12,122), Singapore ($9,701) and Rome ($9,166) also feature among the top 10 most expensive cities. Related Articles:
